There are two Waste Disposal Sites located within the Municipality.
1) Belmont Waste Transfer Site is situated on No. 23 Highway; 1 mile West of the Easterly Belmont exit road. Waste being delivered to the site is required to be sorted. All recyclables must be separated, washed with lids removed and handed to the Waste Site Supervisor/Attendant. Refrigerators/Freezers etc. may be brought to the waste disposal ground where the Freon will be removed at a cost of $25.00.

2) Dunrea Waste Transfer Site is situated on the SE 1/4 of 31-5-17 W. #101091 Head North on Road 101W, just west of Dunrea. Waste being delivered to the site is required to be sorted. All recyclables must be separated, washed with the lids removed and handed to the Waste Site Supervisor/Attendant. Refrigerators/Freezers etc. may be brought to the waste disposal ground where the Freon will be removed at a cost of $25.00.
