Terry Fox Memorial Park
Along the Northern shore of Pelican Lakes in the town of Ninette. This park has undergone major changes over the last few years, including updated playground equipment, new dock, anchored swim platform, groomed sand beaches, fire pits, picnic tables, and brand new restroom/change room facility. Strathcona Memorial Park
Situated on the east side of Pelican Lake, a cottage development owned by the R.M. of Prairie Lakes. The Park is well treed and serviced camping sites are available through the Strathcona Park Store, a maintained beach with swimming and play areas are provided. Easy access is provided off Hwy # 23 between Ninette and Belmont by turning south onto Strathcona Park Road.

Strathcona Centennial Trail
Seventeen plus miles of Recreational Trail through the municipality on the previous railway right of way. Access the trail at Belmont, or any number of places where municipal roads intersect the trail, and enjoy, the beauty and tranquility of the outdoors. Walk, snowmobile, ATV or use any mode of sightseeing transport you prefer.


Belmont Campground & Sportsgrounds
Located along the north side of Belmont, the campground has 8 serviced (15 Amp electric and water) campsites, along with shower facilities. Campsite reservations can be made by contacting the municipal office at 204-537-2241.

The sportsgrounds feature a playground, picnic shelter, baseball and soccer fields as well as many other activities to enjoy.

Prairie  Lakes Rec Complex

Description: The Prairie Lakes Rec Complex is located in Dunrea, Manitoba within the RM of Prairie Lakes and features a gymnasium and office space rentals. The complex is available to everyone, not just municipal residents. The gymnasium is suitable for pickle ball, badminton, volleyball, floor hockey, basketball and other activities in addition to larger functions such as showers, large gatherings and lunches. There is some sports equipment available for use in the gym. The available offices can be rented for long term (monthly or yearly), used as a meeting room, or for smaller gatherings.
