HANDI TRANSIT DRIVERS
Applications are being accepted for individuals interested in casual and part-time employment, operating the R.M. of Prairie Lakes Handi-Transit van. Interested individuals are requested to complete an application form and submit to the municipal office in Belmont. Please indicate on your application the date and times you would be available.
The Handi-Transit van is a 15 passenger vehicle and equipped with hydraulic wheelchair, mobility disadvantaged lift. Transportation is provided to residents of the municipality in the following priority: Medical, Shopping/Business, Recreation and Social Networking.
Employment commencement date is dependent on ability to utilize Handi-Transit services in compliance with current COVID-19 rules and regulations. Drivers would be independently contracted and not employees of R.M. of Prairie Lakes.
Qualifications for Positions:
- Must possess a minimum Class 4 driver's license.
- Must be willing to undergo criminal record and driving record checks.
- Preference to having experience with seniors and mobility disadvantaged individuals.
